Licence Required: MUST have Bosun experience on larger yachts is preferred (50m+).

Requirements: YM+ , painting, teak work, product knowledge, handling capstans and windlasses. Experience with managing a few Deck crew previously.
STCW + Refresher
Experience working with a Planned Maintenance System
marine medical or ENG1 (valid for 6 months)
Passport valid 1 year +
B1/B2 visa valid 1 year + or US citizen/green card
Covid vaccination preferred
TWIC card - preferred
Preferences: deck license

Large yacht experience

Responsibilities: Deck maintenance, Management of Deck.

Job Specifics: Bosun - this yacht is dockside with very little travel. No guests on board. For sale. Ideal for someone that wants a home base. Great time to study for courses, etc. during your down time. Also time off the boat to explore and enjoy a partial land-based position. A great opportunity to learn from a highly experienced Officer team that love to train.

Work week is typically Mon-Fri 8am-4pm plus schedule weekend watches. The time can be more or less depending on the vessel needs but the time listed is a standard week.
This is a non-traditional roll as we will not have guests, no guest trips. We would like a year commitment.

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience - above average
